Module 2: Managing Classroom Procedures and Routines

The focus of Module 2 is on the quality of the classroom procedures and routines and you maintain as a teacher. This module aligns with section B ‘Classroom Environment’ and prioritized skill B2 ‘Managing Classroom Procedures’ on the SOE Observation Tool. Module content centers around the importance for teachers to effectively implement and manage classroom procedures in order to;

  • Maximize student learning by proactively preventing student misbehavior
  • Ensure students feel safe and secure in an orderly classroom
  • Guide students to actively contribute to the development of a supporting learning environment
