Join us as we celebrate our esteemed School of Education graduates!

For Guests:

TIME:

  • 8:30 AM PAC Auditorium doors open - Seating is first-come, first-served
  • 9:00-11:00 Commencement Ceremony

TICKETS:

  • All guests requiring a seat will need a ticket to enter the ceremony
  • Graduates are limited to six guest tickets from May 5th through June 1st. After June 1st, all remaining tickets will be released for purchase on a  first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Participating graduates do not need a ticket.
  • All tickets will be available for purchase through the Cal Poly Ticket Office

ACCOMMODATIONS:

  • If anyone in your party requires special accommodations at the ceremony, or if you would like a printed program please inform the School of Education by email (soe@calpoly.edu) or by calling 805-756-2126 no later than Wednesday, June 8th.
  • An ASL interpreter will be present at this event.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL: 

  • Due to recent updates from SLO County Public Health and an increase in COVID-19 cases, as of May 31st, Cal Poly has instituted a mask mandate across campus. Masks will be required to be worn by all participants for the duration of this indoor event (including graduates). For more information and guidance please refer to Cal Poly's Coronavirus Information website.  The School of Education will have masks available for guests on the day of the event.
  • For additional safety, testing prior to traveling to this event is also encouraged.

LOCATION & PARKING:

  • To reach the Performing Arts Center from South County, take Highway 101 to the Grand Avenue exit in San Luis Obispo and then follow the signs to Cal Poly and the Center. If you are coming from North County, take Highway 101 to the Monterey Street exit and then take a quick right and turn left onto Loomis Street and then take a right onto Grand Avenue. If you are coming from Morro Bay, Cambria, etc., we suggest that you enter campus from the Highland Drive entrance.
  • Parking for all events scheduled at the Performing Arts Center is free for all patrons. Event parking in the main structure (130 - Grand Ave Parking Structure) will be available on a first-come basis.
