There are two applications to be admitted to the Multiple Subject Teacher Education Preparation (MSTEP) program: Cal State Apply and the
MSTEP application.

*Spring admission is open for prerequisite course registration only. You must submit a Cal State Apply application including the MSTEP Application and all required materials by February 1st to complete prerequisites during Spring quarter and be conditionally admitted to begin the MSTEP program in Fall. Contact soe@calpoly.edu to schedule an advising appointment and receive a permission code for accessing the application. Please note, the MSTEP application will be uploaded to the Cal State Apply application under "Supplemental Materials."
