Martina currently serves as one of the Credential Analyst and Advisors for the Cal Poly School of Education. In this role, Martina covers a broad range of credentialing functions that include reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and processing applications for public school teaching credentials, certificates, and permits.

In 2022, she joined Cal Poly School of Education as a Credential Administrative Support Coordinator working with and supporting all eight SOE programs, where she provided and promoted an inclusive and supportive environment for faculty, staff, and students.

Prior to coming to Cal Poly, Martina worked as an Italian Instructor at Scripps College, where she taught lower-division Italian language courses. Additionally, she worked as a curriculum developer for international language programs and taught in the private sector focusing primarily on second language acquisition. 

She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, with a concentration in language teaching, from Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Her current research focuses on inclusive pedagogy and accessible instructional design.
